We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Associate to help build and grow Hadi Finance's presence across digital platforms and ensure that Hadi is consistently portrayed and marketed in the best possible way online. This is a hands-on role that goes beyond managing social media pages or maintaining a posting schedule. You will contribute to the development and execution of Hadi Finance's social media strategy, content planning, video content, campaigns, and digital marketing activities, with a strong focus on creating content that connects with our target audience and supports the company's business goals.
You will work closely with the Content Team to plan, create, and coordinate content across our digital channels. Collaboration across departments is a non-negotiable part of this role. You will need to understand what is happening across the business and identify opportunities to communicate our work, products, people, customer stories, and impact effectively online.
The goal is not simply to increase followers or keep our social media pages active. It is to tell the Hadi Finance story well, strengthen our brand, communicate the value of our products, and position Hadi as a trusted and relevant brand for the businesses and communities we serve.
The successful candidate should be creative, proactive, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. You should be able to turn information from different parts of the business into engaging and meaningful digital content, while maintaining consistency with Hadi Finance's brand, voice, and objectives.
- Develop and execute Hadi Finance's social media strategy, manage the content calendar, and create or coordinate engaging content across relevant digital platforms, including short-form video, captions, and campaigns.
- Work closely and collaborate with teams across Hadi Finance to identify stories, updates, product information, customer experiences, and business activities that can be turned into relevant and engaging content.
- Support the production of high-quality digital content by coordinating content ideas, video production, field content, and creative assets with relevant team members and contributors.
- Plan, execute, and optimise paid social media campaigns, while using audience insights and campaign performance to improve reach, engagement, lead generation, and overall marketing outcomes.
- Monitor and report on social media and campaign performance, identify what is working, and continuously improve the digital strategy. Help ensure Hadi Finance is consistently represented online in a way that strengthens the brand and supports its business goals.
- Consistently grow Hadi Finance's social media reach, audience, and engagement.
- Build and maintain a structured, strategic, and relevant content calendar.
- Produce high-quality video content consistently.
- Generate measurable marketing outcomes from social media and paid campaigns.
- Improve campaign performance through testing and data analysis.
- Deliver accurate and timely performance reports.
- Build a reliable system for sourcing content from the field.
- Contribute effectively to the development of Hadi Finance's content function as the company grows.
- 2 years of hands-on experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, or a similar role.
- Experience managing social media accounts for a business or brand.
- A portfolio demonstrating previous video content, social media work, and campaign results.
- Practical experience running paid social campaigns, particularly through Meta Ads Manager.
- Experience managing real advertising budgets and optimising campaigns based on performance.
- Experience marketing to an SME, retail, informal commerce, fintech, or Nigerian mass-market audience is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Strong video editing skills using tools such as CapCut, inShot, or similar software.
- Hands-on experience with Meta Business Suite and Meta Ads Manager.
- Strong copywriting and content-writing skills.
- Good understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.
- Ability to interpret data and make practical marketing decisions.
- Familiarity with content planning and scheduling tools.
