Salary: 650,000 monthly gross
Reports To: Project Manager
Technical Supervision & Site Execution
- Supervise daily site operations to ensure work is executed efficiently and according to approved plans.
- Interpret engineering drawings and ensure all construction activities comply with approved specifications.
- Set out works on site using survey instruments and coordinate with surveyors to confirm levels, alignments, and grades before and during construction.
- Monitor structural, civil, finishing, and other engineering works to ensure technical accuracy and quality.
Quality Assurance & Control
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors while maintaining quality control standards.
- Ensure all materials used on site meet approved specifications and project requirements.
- Conduct routine quality checks and material testing (e.g., concrete works, compaction, finishing materials) to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit accurate daily site progress reports, work-done reports, and technical reports.
- Track project progress against the work programme and promptly escalate delays, risks, or resource
- constraints to the Project Manager.
- Maintain material reconciliation records and as-built documentation.
Coordination & Compliance
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure timely availability of materials, plant, and equipment required for site works.
- Liaise with consultants, sub-contractors, and relevant regulatory bodies on compliance and approvals.
- Identify and resolve technical issues arising on site, escalating complex design-related matters where necessary.
- Enforce strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

- Minimum of 5 years\' relevant construction site experience.
- Registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) is required.
- Membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) is required.
- Strong knowledge of structural and civil engineering principles, construction methods, and quality standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in engineering and project reporting tools is an advantage.
