We are hiring an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (HVAC | MEP-BIM) to lead the design, BIM coordination, and delivery of Mechanical Building Services projects from concept to handover.
The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in HVAC design, supported by working knowledge of Plumbing and Fire Protection systems, with proven experience in MEP Contracting and Design & Build projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead HVAC system design and engineering for commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, residential, and mixed-use developments.
Perform cooling/heating load calculations and design HVAC systems including Chilled Water, VRF/VRV, DX, AHU, FCU, ventilation, and smoke management systems.
Design and review Plumbing and Fire Protection systems in line with international standards.
Develop and coordinate BIM models using Revit MEP and conduct clash detection using Navisworks.
Prepare design documents including drawings, BOQs, technical reports, specifications, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Consultants, Clients, Procurement, and Site teams.
Lead design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and support value engineering initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Valid COREN registration (Mandatory).
Minimum 10 years' experience with a reputable MEP Contractor.
Strong background in HVAC Design, with exposure to Plumbing & Fire Protection systems.
