Responsibilities Safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and other approved school activities. Follow designated routes and schedules while ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off of students. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the school bus to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance. Ensure students are seated safely and adhere to bus safety rules throughout the journey. Maintain discipline and order on the bus, reporting any behavioral concerns to school management. Keep accurate records of routes, mileage, fuel usage, maintenance issues, and incident reports. Report accidents, vehicle faults, delays, or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate school authority. Ensure the bus is clean, presentable, and properly maintained at all times. Comply with all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and school transportation policies. Assist younger students during boarding and disembarking where necessary to ensure their safety. Coordinate with parents, guardians, and school administrators regarding transportation-related matters when required. Attend training sessions, safety briefings, and meetings as directed by the school. Ensure emergency equipment on the bus is functional and readily available. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while representing the school.
