  • The Risk & Compliance Officer will support the organization in identifying, assessing and mitigating operational, financial, regulatory and reputational risks while ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess organizational risks.
  • Maintain risk registers and risk-control frameworks.
  • Monitor regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct compliance reviews and assessments.
  • Develop and maintain compliance policies.
  • Investigate compliance breaches.
  • Monitor implementation of corrective actions.
  • Support internal and external regulatory audits.
  • Prepare risk and compliance reports for management.
  • Conduct staff compliance awareness programmes.
  • Monitor anti-fraud and anti-corruption controls.
  • Support business continuity and crisis-management planning.

Requirements

  • B.Sc./HND/LL.B. in a relevant discipline.
  • 2 - 5 years' risk, compliance, audit or regulatory experience.
  • Relevant professional certification such as CRMA, CISA, ICA, CISI or compliance certification is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of risk-management principles.
  • Excellent analytical and investigative skills.
  • Strong regulatory awareness.
