Job Summary

  • We are looking for a Relationship Officer to drive customer acquisition, promote financial products, build relationships with associations, and support loan disbursement and repayment within assigned locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and onboard new customers, associations, and markets.
  • Drive sales, loan acquisition, and disbursement targets.
  • Promote financial products including loans, savings, micropension, and microinsurance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and association leaders.
  • Follow up on leads and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor sales, loan performance, collections, and customer activities.
  • Prepare accurate and timely performance reports.
  • Work with the Team Lead and Marketing team to achieve business targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in any discipline.
  • 1 - 3 years' experience in sales, preferably within financial services.
  • Experience in lending or collections is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Target-driven, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to work in a field-based/community environment.

Job Objective The Relationship Officer (Financial Inclusion) is responsible for building and managing relationships with associations within assigned locations. Facilitate smooth onboarding and educate customers on product usage and benefits. Manage inbound leads efficiently, ensuring timely follow-up and high conversion rates. Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and associations. Collaboration & Coordination Work closely with the Team Lead to onboard markets and associations. Develop and implement localized sales and engagement strategies. Collaborate with the marketing team on targeted campaigns to improve customer experience and conversion rates. Performance Tracking & Reporting Track and report on sales performance, loan disbursements, collections, and pipeline activities. Monitor KPIs and provide feedback to the Team Lead. Continuously improve personal performance against assigned targets. Ensure timely submission of accurate reports and customer feedback. Job RequirementsEducation & Qualifications Minimum of OND, HND, or BSc in any discipline. Experience 1 - 3 years of sales experience within the financial services industry.
