Key Responsibilities Training and Supportive Supervision Train and provide supportive supervision to assigned providers in line with MSI Nigeria's quality assurance standards. Ensure provider competency in counselling, infection prevention, medical emergency preparedness, and family planning service provision is maintained. Conduct monthly or bi-monthly supportive supervision, coaching, and mentoring based on identified needs. Maintain up-to-date training, competency, and supportive supervision records for all assigned providers. Follow up on action plans arising from supportive supervision and quality assessments and track progress to completion. Support the preparation and submission of monthly and quarterly facility performance reports on training and quality assessment activities. Ensure assigned facilities comply with quality standards established by the Federal Government of Nigeria and MSI Nigeria Reproductive Choices Lead performance review meetings with the Regional Manager and Quality Advisor to improve provider and facility performance. Document and share best practices and lessons learned from supportive supervision and quality improvement activities. Support the planning and delivery of clinical training across assigned facilities. Support state-level quality audits in collaboration with the Regional Clinical Quality Advisor and follow up on improvement actions. Supply and Facility Management: Ensure adequate availability of commodities, consumables, and relevant clinical equipment across assigned facilities. Ensure clinical governance guidelines, manuals, and job aids are available and properly used at assigned facilities. Ensure infection prevention materials are available and consistently used across all assigned facilities. Ensure expired commodities and clinical supplies are not present at service delivery points. Support facility referral systems and track referral linkages and service utilisation. Facilitate timely reporting and follow-up of incidents related to family planning and SA/PSC services. Advocacy, Client Mobilisation and External Relations: Work with government, implementing partners, and internal MSI Nigeria stakeholders to achieve programme and organisational objectives. Represent MSI Nigeria at relevant state-level meetings and stakeholder engagement platforms as required. Promote the visibility and credibility of the MSI Nigeria brand across the assigned state. Build and maintain strong relationships with government, partners, and public institutions within the state. Strengthen collaboration between communication and community mobilisation activities. Work with providers and the Family Planning Coordinator to identify viable demand creation opportunities in line with MSI Nigeria strategy. Data Reporting and Management: Ensure all service data from assigned facilities are collected and reported into ORION by the 3rd of each month. Validate facility service data before entry into ORION and ensure all submissions are accurate and complete. Ensure all data entered into ORION complies with reporting timelines and data validation requirements. Archive reported data chronologically at the state office for audit purposes. Review data entries and make necessary corrections during the monthly data review period. Train assigned providers on the use of data reporting tools during supportive supervision visits. Conduct provider review meetings to address data gaps and document mop-up data in line with approved SOPs. Ensure data reporting tools are available and consistently used across all assigned facilities. Develop integrated monthly reports capturing operational performance and clinical quality deliverables.
