To inspect materials, articles, and processes, and carry out tests to ensure compliance with established requirements and customers' expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Inspects each pallet before loading for dents, loose straps, loose stretch wrapping, damaged pallets, and pallets without tickets. Ensures such pallets are not loaded. Seals trucks after product is loaded, documents the seal number in the waybill and communicates same to the QA Manager.
Ensures each truck has a certificate of conformance before leaving the plant.
Inspects can lids before loading into trucks for damaged protective covering.
Prepares daily report of quality inspection activities for submission to the QA manager.
Participates in the implementation and maintenance of GZI quality, environment, health & safety and food safety management system.
Conducts routine attribute defect inspections on all production lines.
Performs and records all required visual inspections.
Requirements
Education: An OND in Food Science, Laboratory Technology or related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
