The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigerian nationals for the position below at the Institute's Headquarters in Ibadan.
Duties
Receive, review, and analyze work orders and service requests to determine scope, priorities, and resource requirements.
Coordinate activities among FMS units, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and seamless project execution.
Develop project work plans, schedules, and cost estimates to support timely and efficient implementation.
Monitor project and work order execution to ensure tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Identify and resolve technical, operational, and administrative issues that may affect project delivery.
Ensure all works comply with approved designs, drawings, specifications, safety requirements, and organizational standards.
Implement and monitor materials standardization protocols to promote consistency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct site inspections and track project progress to verify compliance with approved plans and performance targets.
Prepare periodic reports on service requests, project status, completed works, outstanding issues, and recommendations.
Maintain accurate project records and support continuous improvement initiatives within the Project Coordination Unit
Any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in BSC in Civil Engineering, Building Tech, or other related discipline along with 2 years of Experience performing a similar role.
Prior experience in facilities management, corporate services, construction project management, operations coordination, or within a research institute, international organization, or corporate environment is highly desirable.
