We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong experience managing projects within the banking and/or financial services sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering projects from initiation through completion while ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
The successful candidate should have strong stakeholder management skills, excellent project execution capabilities, and the ability to work effectively across business, technology, operations, and other functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and deliver projects from initiation to completion.
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and success criteria.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure effective collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to stakeholders and management.
Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements.
Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, scope, budget, and quality standards.
Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners.
Identify potential project challenges and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Ensure proper project documentation, governance, and reporting.
Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and methodologies.
Ensure compliance with relevant banking, financial services, regulatory, and organisational requirements where applicable.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
4 - 7 years of proven project management experience.
Previous experience working within banking, fintech, financial services, or related financial institutions is required.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, preferably Agile and/or Waterfall.
