Job Summary

  • As part of our continuous growth, we are seeking experienced Project Management Engineers to champion the successful execution of IT infrastructure projects.
  • The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage complex, high-impact projects within dynamic enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules; coordinate updates with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Lead and supervise the project execution team, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and timelines are achieved.
  • Manage IT infrastructure projects encompassing networks, servers, virtualization, storage, and data center operations in a high-availability, ITIL-based environment.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle from requirements definition, planning, and execution to transition and closure.
  • Ensure smooth handover of completed projects to operations teams with comprehensive documentation and drawings.
  • Manage project budgets, financials, and resource utilization to achieve delivery within agreed constraints.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues throughout project execution.
  • Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and participate in major incident and problem reviews.
  • Conduct regular project reviews to assess performance, resourcing, and process compliance, and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare and maintain key project documents, including charters, communication plans, and progress reports.
  • Provide accurate project status updates and delivery performance reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Foster collaboration across teams, resolving conflicts, aligning objectives, and ensuring accountability.
  • Translate technical initiatives into measurable business outcomes, ensuring that project outcomes align with organizational goals.
  • Actively contribute to workforce planning, capacity reviews, and project delivery governance.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant post-NYSC experience in project management within the Telecommunications or Technology industry.
  • Proven experience managing complex IT infrastructure projects in a fast-paced, high-availability environment.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure technologies including networks, servers, storage, data centers, and virtualization.
  • Excellent understanding of project management frameworks (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile) and ITIL principles.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and gain the respect of senior technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile) is an added advantage.
