Product Manager Ãâ¢ã‚â€ã‚â“ Cross-border Payments & Remittance At It Horizons Limited

Role Overview

• We are looking for a Product Manager with proven experience building and scaling cross-border payment and remittance product.
• This role requires a strong operator who can translate strategy into execution, lead a Scrum team, and deliver high-impact financial products in a fast-paced environment.
• You will own the product lifecycle end-to-endfrom discovery to deliverywhile working closely with engineering, design, compliance, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Ownership:

• Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for cross-border payments and remittance solutions.
• Identify market opportunities across corridors, customer segments, and use cases.
• Balance business goals (revenue, cost, growth) with user experience and compliance requirements.

Execution & Delivery:

• Own product delivery from ideation through launch and iteration.
• Break down complex initiatives into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize backlog based on impact, effort, and strategic alignment.
• Drive timely execution with a strong bias for action.

Scrum & Agile Leadership:

• Act as Product Owner for Scrum teams
• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure clarity, focus, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Partner closely with the UI/UX designer, engineering, and QA testers to remove blockers.

Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with engineering, design, operations, compliance, risk, and finance teams.
• Align cross-functional stakeholders on priorities and delivery timelines.
• Communicate product updates, risks, and outcomes effectively to leadership.

Customer & Market Insight:

• Gather and synthesize customer feedback.
• Understand key challenges in international payments (fees, FX, speed, transparency, regulation).
• Continuously improve customer journeys and conversion rates.

Data & Performance:

• Define and track KPIs (e.g., transaction success rate, time to settlement, cost per transaction, user growth).
• Use data to inform decisions, run experiments, and optimize performance.

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Product Management experience.
• Proven experience working on cross-border payments, remittance, fintech, or financial services products.
• Strong experience acting as a Product Owner in Scrum / Agile environments.
• Demonstrated ability to drive execution and ship products at scale.
• Experience working with APIs, payment rails, FX.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
