We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Procurement & Sourcing Specialist to manage the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of goods and services required for operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have strong procurement experience, with preference given to candidates with exposure to the oil and gas or energy sector.
The role requires a strategic thinker who can ensure cost-effective sourcing while maintaining quality standards, supplier reliability, and compliance with company procurement policies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify. evaluate, and engage reliable suppliers and vendors for goods and services
Manage end-to-end procurement processes including RFQs, POs, and contract negotiations
Source materials and services in line with company operational and project requirements
Maintain and update a database Of approved suppliers and pricing benchmarks
Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers
Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and regulatory standards
Monitor supplier performance in terms Of quality, delivery timelines, and pricing
Collaborate with internal departments to forecast procurement needs
Manage procurement documentation and ensure proper record-keeping
Support cost control initiatives and budgeting processes
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Chain Management. Business Administration. Logistics, or related field
2-5 years proven experience in procurement or sourcing
Oil & Gas or energy sector experience is highly preferred
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Knowledge of procurement processes, contract management. and supply chain operations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word.
Strong analytical. convnunication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and multiple procurement demands
