Workshop Technology & Precision Machining: Operation of conventional and CNC lathes, milling machines, universal shapers, precision grinders, and bench fitting. Thermo-Fluid Sciences & Power Plants: Applied thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC/refrigeration engineering. Mechanical Design & CAD/CAM: Machine design calculations, stress analysis, component modeling, and drafting using AutoCAD Mechanical, SolidWorks, or Autodesk Inventor. Materials Science, Metallurgy & Plant Maintenance: Destructive and non-destructive testing (NDT), metallographic ana lysis, heat treatment techniques, and plant preventative maintenance.
Minimum Qualification & Experience Requirements
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) / Doctor of Science (D.Sc) / Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in a relevant discipline, with a minimum of ten (10) years of cognate experience, extensive teaching/research/industrial experience, a strong publication record, professional registration where applicable, and demonstrable evidence of academic leadership and community service.
