We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and nurturing Pre School Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Early Childhood Education and practical experience teaching and supporting young children in their academic, social, emotional, and developmental growth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment while delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities that support the overall development of each child.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, creative, and age-appropriate lessons in line with the school\'s curriculum and learning objectives.
- Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes effective learning and development.
- Teach and support young children using appropriate early childhood teaching methods and learning activities.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, classroom activities, and learning resources suitable for the developmental needs of children.
- Monitor, assess, and evaluate each child\'s academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate support to help each child achieve developmental and academic milestones.
- Encourage children\'s curiosity, creativity, confidence, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behaviour among students.
- Organize and supervise educational, creative, recreational, and developmental activities.
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and proper supervision of children at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of students\' attendance, progress, assessments, and other relevant information.
- Prepare student progress reports and provide constructive feedback to parents and guardians when required.
- Establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with parents, guardians, colleagues, and school management.
- Participate in parent meetings, school events, training sessions, and other school activities as required.
- Collaborate with other teachers and members of staff to support the effective delivery of the school\'s educational programmes.
- Keep up to date with current early childhood education practices, teaching methods, and child development principles.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Carry out other teaching and school-related responsibilities as may be assigned by management.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor\'s Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching qualifications or professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrable experience teaching young children in an Early Years or Early Childhood Education setting.
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
- Ability to develop engaging and interactive lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
