Our Client is looking for a skilled and hands-on Operations & Maintenance Operator/Engineer to manage the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance improvement of their bleach and liquid cleaner sachet lines.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production operations, machine reliability, quality compliance, and minimum downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations:
Operate and supervise bleach and liquid cleaner sachet lines.
Ensure achievement of daily production targets.
Monitor line efficiency, productivity, and machine performance.
Carry out machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments for different bottle sizes and SKUs.
Ensure proper filling, capping, labeling, coding, and packing operations.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and automation-related issues.
Minimize machine downtime through effective fault diagnosis and repairs.
Maintain maintenance records and machine history.
Coordinate spare parts planning and inventory control.

Capping machines
Shrink Sleeving Tuunel machines
Batch coding systems
Shrink wrapping and packing machines
Conveyors and material handling systems
Air compressors and pneumatic systems
Quality & Safety:
Ensure product quality and packaging integrity.
Monitor filling accuracy, cap sealing, label positioning, and coding quality.
Implement GMP, 5S, and safety procedures.
Ensure safe handling of chemical products.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve machine efficiency and reduce waste.
Participate in process optimization and productivity improvement projects.
Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment.
Requirements
B.Eng./HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in operation and maintenance of bottling or sachet packaging lines.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Experience with PLC-controlled and automated packaging equipment.
Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in detergent, home care, beverage, food, or FMCG manufacturing.
Knowledge of servo systems, VFDs, sensors, and automation controls.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning and OEE monitoring.
Experience with SAP PM module is an added advantage.
