Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Operations Supervisor to coordinate the company's general operational activities, ensuring that facilities, utilities, equipment, materials and support services are properly managed and available for smooth business operations.
  • The ideal candidate should have a technical background or strong experience in electrical/electronic equipment, industrial components, machinery spare parts, utilities, facilitiesor a related environment, with good administrative, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the company's day-to-day general operational activities and support services.
  • Monitor and coordinate the effective management of utilities and facility-related services, including power supply, water, generator, air-conditioning, lighting, plumbing, and other essential services.
  • Monitor the condition and functionality of company facilities, equipment, tools, and operational assets.
  • Identify facility, utility, and equipment-related issues and ensure they are promptly reported and followed through to resolution.
  • Liase with maintenance personnel and service providers on repairs, servicing, installations and general facility maintenance.
  • Receive, review, coordinate and process spare parts and maintenance item requests from relevant departments.
  • Ensure that spare-part requests are properly documented, approved, issuedand tracked.
  • Liaise with the Stores/Procurement and Maintenance teams to ensure availability of critical spare parts, tools, equipment, and operational materials.
  • Maintain proper records of spare parts, equipment, tools, maintenance requests, utility usageand facility-related activities.
  • Monitor the usage, movement, and accountability of company equipment, tools, and operational assets.
  • Follow up on outstanding maintenance, facility, utilityand operational requests until completion.
  • Coordinate external technicians, contractors, vendors, and service providers when required.
  • Assist in evaluating technical requirements and verifying that supplied electrical/electronic components, equipmentand spare parts meet requested specifications.
  • Ensure proper documentation of equipment breakdowns, repairs, replacements, servicing, and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor the company's general operational environment and escalate issues that may affect business continuity.
  • Assist management in identifying operational inefficiencies and recommending practical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, operational controls, safety requirements and applicable standards.
  • Perform other operational and coordination duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • HND or B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, Operations Managementor a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years' relevant experience in operations, facilities, utilities, maintenance coordination, technical support, spare-parts managementor a related environment.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, industrial, electrical/electronics, or technical environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong practical knowledge of electrical/electronic equipment, components, industrial machinery spare parts, tools, and related technical materials.
  • Ability to understand basic technical specifications and identify/verify electrical and electronic components and spare parts.
  • Experience coordinating facility maintenance, utilities, repairs, service providers, and contractors.
  • Good understanding of inventory/spare-parts request, issuance, tracking, and documentation processes.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and coordination skills
  • Proximity to the work location is key.

Perform and document verification of well barrier envelopes before critical operations through testing and logging to ensure well integrity and regulatory compliance. Lead pre-job HAZID/JSA (Hazard Identification/Joint Safety Analysis) and pre-tour meetings, confirming permits, SIMOPS interfaces, and isolations to mitigate risks and enable safe execution.
