Operations - Logistics Specialist Iii At Amaiden Energy Nigeria

Main Functions

• Logistics specialists provide subject matter expertise to operating teams.
• Expert resource for logistics and may include aviation, marine, shore-based, ground transportation, and camp services to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-efficient logistic services.
• Demonstrates good planning, scheduling, coordination, and administration skills and able to influence without
• authority at all levels within an organization.
• A logistics specialist may cover some or all of the responsibilities listed below.

Tasks

• Works with Aviation and Procurement to optimize both helicopter and fixed
• wing transportation.
• Ensures all logistical support activities follow proper company process
• and control.
• Provides expertise for remote, onshore, and offshore logistics, including
• marine support commissioning, material transfer, and start up procedures.
• Participates in emergency preparedness doctrine, training and drills.
• Provides more technical/functional support than administrative support.
• Makes decisions within broad parameters.

Job Requirements

• BSc in Engineering, Construction Management, or other Technical degree .
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to
• network effectively across organizations.
• Demonstrates a thorough working knowledge of technology, applications,
• terminology, and procedures required of job function.
• Behavioral Skills: adaptability, analytical capability, applied learning,
• effective communication, sound decision-making .
• Functional Skills: Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) management - operations and maintenance, managing critical operations, operations - specific technology and unit or area, maintenance management, logistics, general marine
• operations.
