Molecular Diagnostics & Research Scientist At British Community Hospital And Outpatient Clinics - Bchoc

Requirements:

• Degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory Science, or related discipline
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant laboratory and research experience
• Hands-on experience with:
• Real-Time PCR (qPCR)
• Conventional PCR
• Gene expression analysis
• Nucleic acid extraction and purification
• Flow Cytometry
• Experiment validation and assay optimisation
• Data analysis and interpretation
• Experience with laboratory Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC)
• Knowledge of COSHH and laboratory safety procedures
• Experience preparing manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication
• Ability to develop, validate, and document SOPs
