Role Description The Medical Officer is a full-time, on-site role based at Genesis Specialist Hospital in Ikeja. This role involves providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up across critical care and surgical units. The Medical Officer will support surgical teams in pre-operative and post-operative management, monitor patients in intensive care units, and participate in multidisciplinary case reviews. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, collaborating closely with consultants and other physicians, and contributing to clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives. The Medical Officer will also participate in continuous medical education, training activities, and patient education to promote safe and effective care. Qualifications Strong foundation in Medicine, including clinical assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment. Willingness to work in a fast-paced hospital environment, including shift and weekend duties as required.
