DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTION

  • Designing and implementing new manufacturing processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Estimating the time and cost needed to complete projects or milestones, and adjusting them as needed
  • Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and market share, including improving product design and functionality, identifying new markets for products, and pricing items appropriately
  • Managing human resources functions such as hiring and training employees and developing a team that can support company goals
  • Overseeing the inspection of products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Monitoring the performance of all operations within the factory or plant to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies
  • Responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and execution of all phases of operations in a manufacturing facility
  • Developing plans for all aspects of production including equipment purchases, staffing needs, work schedules, and material requirements
  • Creating reports about production activities, such as work orders and inventory levels, and updating them regularly
