Logistics Driver At Myafrimall Logistics Limited

Location: Akiode - Berger, Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled daily pickups of packages and cargo across all company branches.
• Execute direct doorstep pickups from corporate and individual customers in a professional, courteous manner.
• Inspect packages at pickup points, cross-check parcel quantities, and reconcile them accurately against pickup manifests and waybills.
• Ensure secure loading, proper stacking, and safe handling of all collected parcels to prevent damage in transit.
• Safely convey all collected shipments to the central sorting hub within specified operational cut-off times.
• Perform routine daily maintenance checks on the assigned vehicle (fluid levels, tyre pressure, brakes, lights) and report any mechanical faults immediately.
• Strictly adhere to Lagos State traffic laws, FRSC guidelines, and road safety regulations.
• Maintain clean daily logs covering mileage, fuel expenses, and completed pickup manifests.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE / OND.
• Valid driver's licence with an excellent, clean driving record (LASDRI card is an added advantage).
• Minimum of 2 - 5 years of proven driving experience, specifically in package pickup, courier dispatch, or logistics operations.
• Thorough, practical knowledge of Lagos road networks, route shortcuts, and traffic management patterns.
• High level of integrity, strong communication skills, and a customer-friendly demeanour.
• Physically fit and capable of loading and offloading packages.
