Laboratory Assistant - Niger Mills, Calabar At Flour Mills Of Nigeria Plc

PURPOSE

To assist the Quality Control Manager to verify and examine all products and ensure that all quality requirements and specifications are met to satisfy customer's expectations and fulfil the organisational goals and objectives.

THE JOB

• Conduct routine physio-chemical analysis of raw materials and finished products to ascertain conformation with target standards.
• Monitoring of chemical micro-feeders to ensure proper treatment of products with additives and micro-nutrients.
• Regular test baking of Production and packing samples to evaluate performance and quality.
• Regular inspection of finished product packaging and weight to ensure conformity with standards.
• Physio-chemical analysis of Diesel supplied to ensure strict compliance with company standards.
• Participation in Plant Fumigation exercises
• Comply with QMS and FSMS regulations.
• Report problems with regards to the FSMS to identified persons.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and safety awareness

QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidates with minimum O' Level /SSCE qualification (Credits in Mathematics & English inclusive in not more than two sittings).

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience in a quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing, or related environment.
• FMCG experience is preferred especially in food processing industry.
