To support the Quality Control function by conducting laboratory analysis from raw materials to finished products, ensuring compliance with quality standards, food safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
The role also provides technical support to ensure efficient laboratory operations while maintaining strict adherence to safety procedures.
The Job
Conduct laboratory analysis from raw material intake to finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform routine laboratory tests, analyse results, and accurately document findings.
Follow established procedures, policies, and health & safety regulations at all times.
Maintain cleanliness, sterilization, and proper organization of laboratory equipment and workspace.
Collect, classify, label, and prepare samples for testing and research.
Ensure proper handling and safe disposal of laboratory waste. Keep laboratory equipment in good working condition and report any faults.
Document all test results and report findings to management.
Stay updated with industry trends, laboratory techniques, and best practices.
Qualifications
O'Level certificate with five (5) credits including Mathematics and English Language.
NABTEB / City & Guilds (C&G) in a related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' relevant laboratory experience (preferably in a manufacturing or food processing environment).
The Person Must:
Be proactive and willing to learn new techniques and processes.
Have good communication and teamwork abilities.
Be physically able to work in a laboratory environment with exposure to noise and chemicals.
Show strong awareness of food safety standards and practices.
