Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tests on construction materials such as concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates to ensure compliance with project and industry standards.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports, and documentation.
  • Calibrate and maintain testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Support site teams by providing timely and reliable test results for construction quality decisions.
  • Ensure that all laboratory activities adhere to company and regulatory HSE standards.
  • Collaborate with the project and QA/QC teams to improve quality assurance processes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years' proven experience as a Laboratory Technician within a construction or civil engineering environment.
  • Relevant certifications in materials testing or construction laboratory operations (e.g., COREN, NSE, NATE, or other recognized certification).
  • Strong understanding of material testing procedures and applicable standards (BS, ASTM, EN).
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.
