Junior Autocad Designer At Horizontal Tempering Glass Limited

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify 2D drawings, layouts, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD.
• Assist in producing drawings for glass, windows, doors, partitions, façades, and other construction-related projects.
• Interpret architectural drawings, sketches, measurements, and specifications.
• Take accurate measurements and translate them into technical drawings where required.
• Make revisions to drawings based on instructions from senior designers, engineers, or project managers.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, properly dimensioned, and presented according to company standards.
• Prepare shop drawings and fabrication drawings for production and installation teams.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of drawings and revisions.
• Liaise with production, site, sales, and project teams to clarify design requirements.
• Assist with material measurements, quantities, and basic calculations from drawings.
• Identify discrepancies or errors in drawings and report them to the appropriate supervisor.
• Ensure completed drawings are submitted within agreed deadlines.
• Perform other design-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

• OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
• Practical knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
• 0 - 2 years of relevant work experience; fresh graduates with strong AutoCAD skills may be considered.
• Knowledge of construction drawings and technical drafting is an advantage.
• Experience with glass, aluminium, windows, doors, façade, or fabrication drawings is an added advantage.
