A leading manufacturing company is seeking a qualified Internal Auditor to join its Internal Audit / Compliance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute risk based internal audit plans
  • Assess internal controls across procurement, production, inventory, sales, payroll and other functions
  • Conduct routine, surprise and special audits
  • Verify inventory, raw material usage, production output and scrap/reject rates
  • Investigate suspected fraud and irregularities
  • Prepare audit reports and present findings to management
  • Recommend corrective actions and monitor implementation
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements and ISO 9001 standards

Requirements

  • HND or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CIA, ACA or ACCA certification is required
  • Minimum of 5 years' internal audit experience
  • Manufacturing or FMCG experience is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of internal audit and risk management frameworks
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems and audit software
  • Strong analytical, reporting and problem solving skills
  • High level of integrity, objectivity and attention to detail
