Job Summary

  • We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Officer to support the effective management of our people and HR operations.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee records, performance management, employee relations, and the implementation of HR policies and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, selection, and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support the implementation and enforcement of company HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate employee performance management and appraisal processes.
  • Assist in managing employee relations, including attendance, leave, disciplinary matters, and staff welfare.
  • Prepare HR reports and provide relevant workforce data to management when required.
  • Support payroll administration by providing accurate and timely employee information.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide appropriate HR support.
  • Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • NYSC Certificate or Exemption Certificate is required.
  • 0-2 years' experience in Human Resources or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
  • Good knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and workplace practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HR management systems will be an advantage.
