Head Of Advisory & Deal Origination At Sthenic Finance & Advisory Limited

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the firm's advisory services and deal origination strategy
• Identify, prospect, and cultivate new advisory mandates and investment opportunities across sectors
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, financial institutions, and industry stakeholders to sustain a robust deal pipeline
• Own the full deal lifecycle from pitch development through negotiation and mandate closing
• Lead advisory engagements spanning financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and transaction structuring
• Advise clients on M&A, capital raising, corporate restructuring, and other strategic initiatives
• Collaborate with Investment Management, Fund Sales, and Research teams to identify cross-selling opportunities
• Prepare and present investment decks, proposals, and client-facing materials
• Mentor and develop junior advisory team members
• Represent the firm at industry conferences, networking events, and client pitches
• Report regularly to senior management on pipeline, performance, and market insights

Requirements

• 7 - 10+ years' experience in financial advisory, corporate finance, investment banking, or senior business development with a deal origination focus
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field; MBA, CFA, ACCA, or ACA highly preferred
• Demonstrated track record of originating and closing complex financial advisory transactions
• Deep understanding of financial markets, valuation methodologies, and corporate finance principles
• Strong existing network within Nigeria's financial and investor community
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
