  • Load and unload materials and merchandise and stack them to assigned places
  • Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
  • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies to vehicles (forklift)
  • Timely transport raw materials to production workstations
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
  • Ensure proper maintenance of assigned forklift machine
  • Daily routine checks of forklift machine
  • Ensure forklift machinery operation is within the correct parameters in accordance with established company policies and legal guidelines
  • Maintain good GMP/GHP in the workplace
  • Prompt reporting of defects on assigned forklift machine for necessary repairs/replacement to engineering
  • Report any identified problems with regards to the food safety management system to the Food Safety team for appropriate actions to maintain the integrity of the company

Requirements:

  • OND,HND,B-SC, B-Tech
  • Valid Forklift Operator Certification/License.
  • Proven experience as Forklift operator( At least a minimum of 3 years Experience ).
  • Food manufacturing experience and knowledge of current FSMS & ISO standards are advantageous.
