Job Description We are seeking qualified and detail oriented Flight Dispatchers to support the safe, efficient, and timely operation of the airline's flights. The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting in the planning, monitoring, and coordination of flight operations, including flight planning, weather assessment, operational coordination, and communication with flight crew and relevant operational stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review operational flight plans in accordance with approved company procedures and regulatory requirements. Monitor weather conditions, NOTAMs, airfield conditions, and other relevant operational information. Assess operational factors that may affect flight safety and efficiency. Coordinate flight dispatch activities with flight crew, Air Traffic Services, Ground Operations, and other relevant stakeholders. Provide flight crew with relevant operational information, including weather, NOTAMs, and other pre-flight briefing materials. Monitor flight progress and maintain appropriate operational communication with flight crew. Identify and promptly escalate operational issues that may affect the safety, regularity, or efficiency of flight operations. Assist in managing delays, diversions, cancellations, and other irregular operations. Maintain accurate and complete flight dispatch and operational records.Ensure compliance with the Company's Operations Manual and applicable NCAA regulations.Support the implementation of approved flight monitoring and operational control procedures. Qualifications & Experience Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or HND in Aviation Management, Aeronautical Science, Geography, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline. A valid and current Flight Dispatcher Licence/Certificate, as applicable and required by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA). Relevant experience in flight dispatch, flight operations, or an airline Operations Control Centre is an advantage. Knowledge of flight planning, aircraft performance, meteorology, navigation, and aviation regulations. Familiarity with flight planning and operational control systems is desirable. NYSC: Evidence of completion or exemption from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.
