We are seeking a skilled Field / Instrumentation Technician to support its Calibration, Inspection & Certification, and Fuel Equipment Maintenance Services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out calibration, inspection, testing, certification, and maintenance of fuel storage facilities and instrumentation systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and HSEQ requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Perform calibration of underground, surface, and above-ground storage tanks.
Calibrate flow meters, gauges, transmitters, and other process instruments.
Conduct pressure testing and leak detection on vessels and pipelines.
Carry out inspection and certification of fuel storage systems and equipment.
Execute fuel storage tank cleaning and decontamination activities (surface and above-ground tanks).
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fuel equipment and instrumentation.
Prepare calibration, inspection, testing, and maintenance reports.
Ensure compliance with HSEQ procedures, client specifications, and industry standards.
Maintain calibration tools and testing equipment in good working condition.
Experience & Technical CompetenciesCandidates must have demonstrable experience in:
Calibration of underground, surface, and above-ground storage tanks.
Calibration of flow meters, gauges, transmitters, and related instrumentation.
Pressure testing and leak detection of vessels and pipelines.
Inspection and certification of fuel equipment and storage systems.
Fuel storage tank cleaning and decontamination (surface and above-ground tanks and pipes).
Preventive and corrective maintenance of fuel equipment and instrumentation.
Preparation of calibration, inspection, and certification reports.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of instrumentation and process control systems.
Ability to read engineering drawings and P&IDs.
Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
Strong technical reporting and documentation skills.
Good communication and teamwork.
Ability to work independently and at field locations.
Preferred Certifications:
HSE Level 1, 2 & 3
Confined Space Entry
Working at Height
First Aid
COREN or ISPON Membership (where applicable)
Instrumentation or Calibration Training Certificates
