DG & ATS Maintenance: Install, inspect, commission, and troubleshoot diesel generator (DG) electrical systems, main/charging alternators, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), and control panels.
Component Testing & Synchronization: Configure and test generator control modules (DCP, Power Wizard, EasyGen) and ATS controllers (Deep-Sea, InteliLite, Lovato); manage synchronization between multiple DGs and grid power.
Wiring & Wiring Modifications: Execute wiring installations, circuit breaker connections, and system modifications following electrical codes and standard specifications.
Load Assessment & Preventive Maintenance: Perform site load balancing, electrical testing to prevent wet stacking, and routine preventive/corrective servicing.
Basic Mechanical Servicing: Carry out basic engine maintenance including oil top-ups, filter replacements, and radiator/canopy cleaning.
Reporting & Site Sign-off: Document site visits, capture photo evidence, obtain customer sign-offs, and report job completion to line managers and the call center.
Asset & HSE Compliance: Maintain assigned tools, test equipment, PPE, and service vehicles
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or BE. Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical or equivalent.
Min 3-5 years of experience in site electrical operations in a leading industrial company with a strong experience in Power Supply/Generators industry.
Hands on working experience on the electrical systems, ATS and Control Modules of a diesel generator and associated test equipment and tools
Well experienced in servicing, trouble shooting of all electrical system problems in Diesel Generator Sets
Well familiar with various types of Diesel Engine Generator Sets and specialized in Perkins or/and Lister Peter or/and Mitsubishi brands generators electrical system with Leroy Somer/Stanford/Marelli brands of Main Alternators.
