Support English-related competitions, debates, public speaking, reading programmes, and other enrichment activities. Allocating literature novels, grammar textbooks, audio-visual aids, and departmental budgets across classrooms. Work closely with school leadership to achieve departmental academic targets. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in English, English Education, or a related field. B.Ed., PGDE, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification including TCRN. Minimum 5 years' teaching experience in a reputable secondary school. Strong knowledge of WAEC and NECO English requirements. Previous HOD, Subject Coordinator, or leadership experience is preferred. WAEC English examiner/marker experience is an advantage. British/Cambridge curriculum experience is an advantage. Strong communication, leadership, organisational, and classroom-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and educational technology. Mature, professional, diligent, and committed to continuous learning.
