Summary We are looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented and commercially minded E-commerce Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day management and performance of our online stores. This is a hands-on e-commerce role. You will be responsible for ensuring that our online storefront is accurate, visually consistent, properly merchandised and continuously optimised for customers. From uploading new products and maintaining product images to organising categories, updating promotions, monitoring sales and identifying issues affecting the customer journey, you will be responsible for keeping our e-commerce operation running effectively. Key Responsibilties Product Uploads & Catalogue Management: Upload new products to our e-commerce websites accurately and on time. Create and maintain product names, descriptions, prices, SKUs, categories, brands, attributes, variations and other product information. Ensure products are assigned to the correct categories and brands. Maintain an organised and accurate online product catalogue. Update existing product information whenever necessary. Ensure discontinued, unavailable and out-of-stock products are appropriately managed. Regularly audit product listings to identify missing, incorrect or outdated information. Product Images & Visual Quality: Ensure all product images uploaded to the website are clear, high-quality and visually consistent. Resize, crop and optimise product images according to the company's required dimensions and image standards. Ensure product images maintain consistent proportions and presentation throughout the website. Identify blurry, poorly cropped, incorrectly sized or low-quality images and replace or correct them. Source appropriate product assets from approved brand/manufacturer resources when required. Optimise images for web use without unnecessarily compromising image quality. Maintain organised folders of product images and digital assets. Website Merchandising: Organise products and categories to make it easy for customers to discover and purchase products. Manage New Arrivals, Best Sellers, Featured Products, Sale Products and other merchandising sections. Ensure homepage and category merchandising reflects current campaigns and business priorities. Update promotional banners, offers and website messaging as required. Set up promotional pricing, discount codes, bundles and other e-commerce offers. Coordinate the website execution of seasonal campaigns and product launches. Ensure marketing campaigns lead customers to the correct products, categories or landing pages. Website Quality Control: Review the website regularly from a customer's perspective. Identify incorrect prices, missing images, duplicate products, incorrect links, outdated promotions and other storefront issues. Test important customer journeys including product search, filtering, cart and checkout. Escalate technical issues to the web/development team and follow through until they are resolved. Work to maintain a clean, accurate, professional and easy-to-use online storefront. Inventory & Stock Coordination: Work closely with the inventory and warehouse teams to ensure website stock information is accurate. Ensure newly received products and restocks are published promptly. Monitor fast-moving and frequently out-of-stock products. Flag discrepancies between physical inventory and online availability. Ensure customers are not unnecessarily prevented from purchasing products that are available. E-commerce Sales & Performance: Monitor daily and weekly online sales. Track revenue, orders, conversion rate, average order value, cart abandonment and product performance. Identify top-selling and underperforming products. Analyse customer behaviour and recommend improvements to the online shopping experience. Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, bundles and improved product merchandising. Monitor promotional campaigns and report on their performance. Recommend actions to improve online revenue and conversion. Customer Experience: Work closely with Customer Care to identify recurring website and ordering issues. Identify problems that may prevent customers from completing purchases. Ensure product information is sufficiently clear to help customers make purchasing decisions. Recommend improvements based on customer questions, complaints and purchasing behaviour. Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly e-commerce reports. Report on online sales, orders, product performance, conversion, stock issues and other relevant KPIs. Highlight problems, opportunities and recommended actions rather than simply presenting numbers. Requirements 2 - 3 years' experience in e-commerce, online retail or a related role. Previous hands-on experience managing an online store is strongly preferred. Experience with WooCommerce, Shopify or another major e-commerce platform. Experience uploading and maintaining large product catalogues. Good understanding of product categorisation and online merchandising. Ability to resize, crop and optimise product images. Basic working knowledge of image-editing/design tools such as Canva, Photoshop or similar tools. Strong attention to detail. Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills. Understanding of basic e-commerce analytics and KPIs. Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Ability to coordinate effectively with Customer Care, Marketing, Inventory/Warehouse, Operations and technical teams. Added Advantage: Previous experience working for a beauty, skincare, cosmetics, fashion, FMCG or high-volume retail business. WooCommerce experience. Experience managing hundreds or thousands of SKUs. Experience with wholesale/B2B e-commerce. Google Analytics 4 experience. Experience with email marketing, abandoned-cart or customer-retention tools. Basic SEO knowledge. Experience managing website promotions and merchandising. Who we are looking for: We are looking for someone who notices the details. You should notice when a product image doesn't match the others. You should notice when a product has been placed in the wrong category. You should notice when a promotion has expired but the banner is still live. You should notice when a product that is available in the warehouse is showing as out of stock online. You should notice when customers are repeatedly struggling with the same part of the website. And when you notice a problem, we expect you to take ownership of getting it resolved. The ideal candidate combines attention to detail, e-commerce operations knowledge and commercial thinking. Your responsibility is not simply to maintain the website. Your responsibility is to ensure that our client's online stores are accurate, organised, visually consistent, easy to shop and commercially effective.
