Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled, patient-focused, and commercially aware dental professional to managerour Clinical Services function.
The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership, drive excellent patient outcomes, oversee clinical governance, mentor dental personnel, and support the growth and strategic positioning of the clinic as a leading provider of premium dental care.
Core Focus Areas & Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership & Service Excellence:
Provide leadership and oversight for all clinical operations.
Deliver high-quality preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and general dental treatments.
Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and best practices.
Promote a culture of patient-centered care and service excellence.
Drive continuous improvement in clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Clinical Governance & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and professional requirements.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
Monitor infection prevention and control procedures.
Lead quality assurance and clinical audit activities.
Manage clinical risk and patient safety initiatives.
Team Leadership & Talent Development:
Supervise and mentor dentists, dental assistants, hygienists, and clinical support staff.
Support workforce planning, onboarding, and clinical competency development.
Foster collaboration and high-performance standards within the clinical team.
Conduct periodic performance reviews and coaching sessions.
Business Growth & Patient Experience:
Support patient acquisition, retention, and referral initiatives.
Collaborate with management on service development and revenue growth strategies.
Contribute to the introduction of innovative dental solutions and technologies.
Build long-term relationships with patients and key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).
Valid license to practice from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
Relevant postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications will be an added advantage.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 3 years post NYSC progressive clinical experience in dentistry within a private clinic environment.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a healthcare or dental practice environment.
Experience in restorative, cosmetic, implant, orthodontic, or digital dentistry is an advantage.
