• Ensure Data Availability and Data Security

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design stable, reliable and effective database using Oracle, PostgreSQL, MYSQL DB and MSSQL.
• Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices.
• Gather user requirements and identify new features
• Database Query review, implement proper indexing
• Prepare ETL Scripts and migrate data from one database to another database
• Provide data management support to users
• Contribute to design & overall product architecture
• Solve database usage issues and malfunctions
• Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements
• Carry out daily database backup, data recovery and restore as well as data replication.
• Modify databases according to requests and perform tests

Job Requirements

• Education: BSc / HND Graduate with an Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics, Information Technology degree
• Others: A Professional Certification in ORACLE, POSTGRESQL, MSSQL, MYSQL is an added advantage
• Experience: 4 - 6 years' work experience as a DBA
