Role Description

  • This full-time, on-site role in Ilesa is open to qualified Community Health Practitioners.
  • The professional in this position will provide direct patient care, including assessment, monitoring, and treatment in both primary and secondary care settings. Depending on credentials and scope of practice, responsibilities may include administering anesthesia, supporting surgical procedures, delivering critical care nursing, and managing emergency and acute cases.
  • The role involves coordinating with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and ensure adherence to safety and infection control standards.
  • The successful candidate will also participate in health education, community outreach, and continuous quality improvement initiatives within the facility.

Qualifications

  • Clinical competence in Nursing and Medicine appropriate to role (Community Health Practitioner).
  • Relevant experience or training in Anesthesiology and Surgery for perioperative and procedural care.
  • Skills in Critical Care Nursing for managing acutely ill or unstable patients.
  • Current professional registration or license with the appropriate regulatory body and compliance with local practice standards.
  • Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and patient monitoring abilities in primary and secondary care settings.
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and documentation skills, with a commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work on-site in Ilesa in a fast-paced environment, including shifts, weekends, or on-call duties as required.
  • Prior experience in community health or emergency care and ongoing engagement in professional development are highly beneficial.
