Commercial Officer - Gobel Marine At Rainoil Limited

A Commercial Officer is required for Gobel Marine to oversee the commercial operations of Gobel Ship and manage vessel chartering activities across the Group. The role is responsible for driving revenue generation, optimizing vessel utilization, and managing client and charter relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
• Experience in shipping, offshore, logistics, or marine commercial operations
• Strong knowledge of vessel chartering (time charter, spot charter, etc.)
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment

Responsibility

• Manage the commercial operations of Gobel Ship to ensure optimal utilization and profitability
• Handle end-to-end vessel chartering activities for the Group
• Identify and secure chartering opportunities with local and international clients
• Negotiate charter agreements, rates, and commercial terms
• Maintain and grow relationships with ship owners, charterers, brokers, and clients
• Monitor market trends in the maritime and offshore industry to support pricing and strategy decisions
• Prepare commercial reports, performance updates, and revenue forecasts
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and commercial best practices
• Collaborate with operations, legal, and finance teams to support vessel deployment and contracts
