Claims Manager At Mutual Benefit Assurance

Key Responsibilities

• Register motor and non-motor claims accurately and promptly.
• Assess and allocate reserves on the claims management system (IMS/TQ).
• Coordinate claims adjustment, including appointing engineers/investigators where necessary.
• Engage clients on claim-related inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Prepare approval sheets, settlement offers, and discharge vouchers.
• Liaise with other departments on claims processing and adjusters' payments.
• Monitor adjustment costs and maintain accurate claims records (IMS/EDMS).
• Ensure adherence to approved claims processes; guide team members.
• Review Outstanding Claims Reserve for quarterly reporting; conduct staff appraisals.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Sc/ BA in Insurance, Actuarial Science, or related field (essential).
• CIIN or relevant professional certification (preferred).
• 6 - 9 years' relevant experience, including at least 6 years in claims administration, within the insurance industry.

Technology

• MS Office - Intermediate (mandatory).
• TQ/GIS - Basic (required), Intermediate (preferred).
