The St. Bridget's Schools is seeking passionate, dedicated, and qualified Junior Secondary School Teachers to join our academic team.
Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, managing classrooms effectively, assessing student progress, and supporting the overall academic and personal development of students.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
Prepare lesson plans, notes, assignments, tests, and other instructional materials.
Assess and monitor students' academic progress.
Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.
Provide appropriate academic support to students.
Maintain accurate records of students' performance and attendance.
Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and active participation in learning.
Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school management.
Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of NCE, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Education, the relevant subject area, or a related field.
Previous teaching experience at the Junior Secondary School level is an advantage.
Good knowledge of the relevant subject and current curriculum.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to prepare and deliver engaging lessons.
Passion for teaching and developing young learners.
Proficiency in basic computer applications.
Added Advantage:
TRCN registration.
Experience preparing students for BECE or other relevant examinations.
Familiarity with modern teaching methods and educational technology.
Ability to teach more than one relevant subject.
