Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintenance and repair of MODU electronic control and support systems, electronic components, and component interface systems.
  • Monitors all rig electronic systems operation and troubleshoots and repairs as necessary for operations.
  • Provide technical support for electronic systems to ensure achievement of rig efficiency and client objectives.
  • Provide specific focus on systems that will keep maintenance operations running effectively and avoid downtime.

Requirements

  • Recognized trade qualification from technical college/apprenticeship or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 10+ years of demonstrated or documented experience as an Electronics Technician on a MODU
  • If working on DP Semi-submersibles, Flag State Maintenance Supervisor license is required.

Other Requirements:

  • Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), West African Examinations Council (WAEC), or GCE O'Level.
  • OND (Ordinary National Diploma) is equivalent to a 2-year Associate Degree in the United States, while HND or B.Sc. is equivalent to a 4-year Degree (at least 120 credits/units).
  • Must be a Nigerian resident currently residing in Nigeria.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both oral and written.
