Job Overview

  • We are seeking a passionate, qualified and experienced Chemistry Teacher to join our academic staff team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Chemistry lessons, preparing students for internal and external examinations, conducting practical laboratory lessons, assessing students' progress and creating a stimulating learning environment.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Education/Chemistry, or a related field, with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) where applicable as an added advantage.
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary school level.
  • Experience teaching Chemistry within a Cambridge Associate School is an added advantage.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging theoretical and practical Chemistry lessons.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer and digital literacy skills.
  • A strong commitment to student growth, academic excellence and the school's values.
