- The Brand, Media & Influencer Marketing Specialist owns the day-to-day execution of BetKing's brand, media and influencer marketing activities.
- This role is the operational engine behind the brand: managing projects end to end, coordinating creative and media agency partners, keeping brand assets current, tracking the competitive landscape, and managing the company's brand ambassadors and influencers.
- This role exists to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on brief, on budget and to a consistent brand standard, while keeping the Head of Marketing informed of progress and issues on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Project Management:
- Own the day-to-day project management of brand marketing initiatives, driving projects from brief through to delivery.
- Maintain project timelines, trackers and status documents; anticipate risks and resolve bottlenecks before they affect delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs and keep all stakeholders aligned on scope, deadlines and deliverables.
- Provide the Head of Marketing with daily updates on project status, priorities, blockers and decisions required.
Creative Agency & ATL Campaign Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the creative agency on above-the-line (ATL) campaigns.
- Brief the agency, review creative output against the brief and brand guidelines, and manage revision rounds through to final approval.
- Coordinate material resizing and adaptation across formats and channels to ensure assets are fit for each placement.
- Follow up with agency partners to share project feedback and secure proof of deployment for delivered work.
Media Agency & Media Planning:
- Liaise with the media agency on media plans, ensuring plans align with campaign objectives, budgets and timelines.
- Review, challenge and approve media schedules, and track delivery against the agreed plan.
- Collect and file proof of deployment for media placements.
- Keep BetKing's media assets and brand asset library current, organized and correctly versioned.
- Ensure the latest approved assets are available to internal teams and external partners and retire outdated materials.
- Safeguard brand consistency across all assets and applications.
Influencer & Brand Ambassador Management:
- Manage BetKing's permanent brand ambassadors and influencers against a monthly calendar, scope of work and defined deliverables.
- Track ambassador and influencer deliverables, ensure obligations are met, and manage relationships day to day.
- Source, brief and manage campaign-based influencers for specific initiatives.
- Ensure influencer content aligns with brand guidelines, campaign objectives and regulatory requirements.
Competitor Tracking & Reporting:
- Monitor competitor brand, media and influencer activity on an ongoing basis.
- Produce regular competitor tracking reports with observations and implications for BetKing.
- Surface relevant trends and opportunities to the Head of Marketing.
Procurement, Vendors & Invoicing:
- Liaise with the procurement function from the start to the close of each project, ensuring processes are followed and approvals obtained.
- Follow up on vendor invoices and payments to keep partners paid on time and projects unblocked.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices and payment status.
- Keep the Head of Marketing updated on day-to-day items across all areas of responsibility.
- Compile and present regular status and performance updates as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
- 3+ years' experience in brand, media or marketing project management, ideally within a fast-paced consumer brand, agency, or the betting/gaming, FMCG or telecoms sectors.
- Proven experience managing creative and media agency relationships.
- Hands-on experience managing influencers and/or brand ambassadors.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to run multiple projects simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of ATL campaign development and media planning fundamentals.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor/invoice management.
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of brand consistency.
