Job Overview

  • We are seeking a passionate, qualified and experienced Biology Teacher to join our Secondary School team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Biology lessons, preparing students for internal and external examinations, conducting practical lessons, assessing students' progress and creating a stimulating learning environment.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Education/Biology, or a related field, with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) where applicable as added advantage.
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary school level.
  • Experience teaching Biology within a Cambridge Associate School is an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Biology curriculum and effective teaching practices.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging theoretical and practical Biology lessons.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive and professional relationships with students and parents.
  • Computer and digital literacy skills.
  • A strong commitment to student growth, academic excellence and the school's values.
