Cost & Management Accounting: Process costing, standard costing, activity-based costing, budget analysis, and variance monitoring. Auditing, Assurance & Public Sector Accounting: Internal control mechanisms, forensic accounting, statutory audit procedures, and public sector accounting (IPSAS/TSA). Taxation & Fiscal Policy: Direct/indirect Nigerian tax practice (CITA, PITA, VAT, Capital Gains Tax) and statutory compliance management. Accounting Information Systems (AIS): Practical deployment of accounting packages (QuickBooks, Sage, ERP suites) and advanced spreadsheet analytics (macros, pivot tables).
Minimum Qualification & Experience Requirements
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)/ Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)/ Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in a relevant discipline plus relevant professional certification/licensure, with a minimum of two (2) years of post- qualification teaching or field experience.
