The Area Recovery Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Benin City, responsible for overseeing and coordinating loan recovery activities across assigned branches within the area. The person in this role will monitor portfolio performance, identify delinquent accounts, and implement effective recovery strategies that align with regulatory and internal policies. Daily tasks include supervising field recovery officers, reviewing repayment plans, conducting portfolio risk analysis, and preparing regular reports on non-performing loans and recovery progress. The Area Recovery Manager will engage directly with customers to negotiate repayment arrangements, collaborate with branch managers to prevent default, and escalate complex cases when necessary. The role also involves training and mentoring recovery staff, ensuring adherence to ethical recovery practices, and supporting initiatives that strengthen credit discipline and portfolio quality.
