The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for managing the organization's receivables process, ensuring timely invoicing, payment tracking, account reconciliation, and effective follow-up on outstanding payments.
The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients while supporting the company's financial health.

Key Responsibilities
Generate and issue customer invoices accurately and promptly.
Monitor customer accounts and track outstanding payments.
Follow up with clients on overdue invoices and ensure timely collections.
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are properly accounted for.
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
Maintain accurate financial records and customer account information.
Prepare periodic receivables aging reports and collection updates.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer billing concerns.
Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
Assist in improving receivables and collection processes.
Maintain professional communication and relationships with customers.

Timeliness and accuracy of invoicing.
Reduction in overdue receivables.
Collection efficiency and recovery rates.

Requirements
Education & Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Professional certification or progress towards certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
Experience:
2 - 4 years of experience in accounts receivable, finance, or accounting roles.
Experience in healthcare, logistics, technology, or startup environments is an added advantage.
