The Solynta Academy Teacher is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Solynta Academy school, ensuring that students have a safe, organised and positive learning environment.
The teacher will oversee students learning via our online platform,facilities and parent communication, while ensuring that the Academy's daily programme runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Centre Operations:
Manage the day-to-day running of the school
Ensure classes, breaks and after-school activities run according to schedule.
Ensure the school is clean, organised and ready for learning each day.
Monitor power, internet, computers and other equipment.
Student Management:
Ensure students are safe, well supervised and properly supported.
Maintain a calm, respectful and disciplined learning environment.
Monitor student attendance, behaviour and general wellbeing.
Ensure students are actively participating in their learning.
Parent Communication:
Serve as the main point of contact for parents at the centre.
Respond to parent questions and concerns promptly.
Provide regular updates on student progress and centre activities.
Build positive relationships with parents and families.
Student Progress:
Identify students who may need additional support.
Ensure students are progressing appropriately through their learning.
Support the successful delivery of academic and technology projects.
Enrolment & Centre Growth:
Welcome prospective parents and students to the school
Conduct school tours and explain the Solynta Academy experience.
Support student onboarding and enrolment.
Represent Solynta Academy positively within the local community.
What We Are Looking For
3 - 5 years' experience in teaching
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable using computers, digital learning platforms and AI tools.
Ability to solve problems quickly and take initiative.
Experience managing teachers or a team is an advantage.
