Job administration is usually done from Job listings under HR operations (Admin or HR). You may also have dashboard shortcuts to Post a job depending on your setup.

Step 1: Job details

  • Enter the job title
  • Select employment type (Full time, Part time, Contract, Internship)
  • Choose job type (Remote, Onsite, or Hybrid)
  • Enter salary information (optional)
  • Set the job expiry date (valid through date)
  • Select hiring manager from your team

Step 2: Location & Requirements

  • Select country (required)
  • Enter region/city (required)
  • Choose industry/job field
  • Select experience level (Entry Level, Mid Level, Senior, Manager, etc.)
  • Enter required qualifications (e.g., OND, BA/BSc/HND, Masters)
  • Optionally specify years of experience

Step 3: Job Description

  • Use the rich text editor to write a detailed job description
  • Include responsibilities, requirements, and company information
  • Format text with headings, lists, and emphasis

Step 4: Qualifications

  • Add specific qualification requirements
  • List required skills, certifications, or education

Step 5: Application Method

  • Careersome Method: Candidates apply directly through the platform. You can customize the application form with fields like:
    • Text inputs
    • File uploads (CV PDF only)
    • Dropdowns
    • Checkboxes
    • Date pickers
  • Custom Method: Provide an external application link or email address

Step 6: Review & Publish

  • Review all job details in the preview
  • Check the sidebar for created date and other metadata
  • Click "Publish Job" to make it live
  • For internal jobs, the job will be visible to your team. For external jobs, it will be posted publicly.

Tips

  • Clear job descriptions help matching; AI-assisted ranking applies on Careersome Light (within limits) and paid tiers that include it. Confirm with your administrator if scores are missing
  • Set realistic expiry dates to keep postings current
  • Pick the hiring manager who will actively manage candidates
